Why do people still want to invest money in property

As you know all people who have enough money for living would like to invest money in things that will give them an opportunity to get profit in the future. Some of them get a deposit in the bank, others buy shares. But investment property have always been very profitable.

But today under the influence of the negative tendencies in US economy and problems in the other countries made prices for property to fall. This happened because the faults in the credit system of US because every time you would like to get a loan you have to leave something as a deposit. In this case many people left as a deposit their own houses and flats which were considered to be one of the most reliable investments. But the mistake was that most of the financial institutions gave more then people could return and thus people had to sell their property to return their loans and that made prices for property decrease. That is why many real estate investors lost their investments. But in fact it would not right to sell property now because after the crisis is over prices will return again.
